Port Talbot v Cardiff Development

Wed Mar 14, 2012 9:35 pm

Just got back from the Port Talbot v Cardiff Development game, finished 3-0 with Jesse Darko getting a hat-trick. Gerrard, Keinan, Ralls and Harris all playing a part with Harris constantly looking to run down the wing and Ralls looking calm and composed in the centre.

Our right back stood out for me the most though, I think his name was Adam Davies. Looked confident on the ball and barely made a mistake. Gerrard had a bit of banter with some jacks in the stand who we winding him up about his accent. He turned around and said "Well how many fingers have you's got?". He seemed to ignore the chants asking him to do the ayatollah, read into that what you will. He definitely heard the chants as Keinan did the ayatollah when asked and he was further away from the stand.

Never really liked Gerrard and his ego anyway. Good job he's out of contract.
Was Malky at the game?

Gerrards just a prick full stop, cant wait for him to leave, should never play for us again.

Good win though and Darko seems to be hitting them in for fun. Shame our problem is conceding at the moment

im not sure about a start, cant see why he wouldnt be able to make an appearance off the bench though. Looked like an out and out winger, ran at the left back and seemed pacey

David Kerslake or Neal Ardley probably :ayatollah:

Ards was manager tonight. - Malky wasnt at the game - they couldnt of been more then 75 people there.

There was a scout in an ipswich jacket at the game so gerrard maybe on his way, he did enough tonight.

The both fullback did very well as did harris...his and jesse's pace is frightening

3 cracking goals by jesse tonight

Neil Ardley takes charge of these games.

Went to the game myself.... Darko took his hat-trick well, and also had a goal ruled out that should have stood. His finishing was as calm and clinical as you can hope for. Kadeem Harris did quite well, runs like he has shit himself though. Keinan was super composed and looked a lot classier than gerrard. The one other player who stood out for me was Saint-Luce, has much more pace than Harris, more tricks and a better final ball. Can see him making a step up soon. I know it was only Port Talbot but the future is bright. :ayatollah:

How did Gerrard cut his head open? Or was that after the game?

He went up for a headed challenge. No malice, just a clash of heads. Hopefully knock some sense into him :D
