Take Manchester United as the perfect example. They have HQ's set up all around the world to boost the football in that country. Does it mean their owners are not wholeheartedly interested in the club? No. It means they are trying to expand the fan base and give us a chance at snapping up local talents that could turn out to be the next big player

I don't think using Manchester United and their American owners who have put the club in a mountain of debt is the best example you could have used.
