There paying are debts which some fans think thats all that matters yet its just more higer intrest debt owned to them even if we dont have a squad for the prem it will carry on year after year unless we get good players in to get us up for them to get a return of some kind

I think they're decent and they essentially saved us so we shouldn't be complaining too much. But we need to spend in the summer. I'm actually looking forward to the summer if Malky gets the funds he wants. Should be busy

They need to do this the right way.

First of all they're not technically our owners yet

To become so, they need to pay off the main creditors (Langston and PMG).

This cannot be done in a hurry, as if it was they'd pay over the odds.

I suspect that this summer that side will be sorted out and your assumption in the question (that they are our owners) will then be correct.

Its at that stage that they should be judged on what they spend, and I don't think they should throw crazy money at it (your fine team are an example that that is not always needed to obtain both success and good football, with which I am sure you will agree).

I think they have conducted themselves as astute and sensible business men, and whilst I was always a fan of Sam's, their approach is more professional I believe.

I know your post was a provocative one, but I trust this deals with the issues you raise.

I think what you fail to realise here is :

1. The money you defaulted on was never repaid and individuals and businesses lost out on it and some may have gone to the wall because of it.

2. We have more debt, but as with any individuals debt, if the creditors are content to allow that to remain and not demand it back (as with most of our personal mortgages), then there is no damage done to the creditor.

3. The position with Sam I believe is that what he is actually owed is currently being negotiated. If he feels what's being offered is not appropriate, he can sue (and if he had a good case, he would doubtless win it). If he fails to do so, it means he accepts that the amount the club are offering him is an appropriate amount.

I therefore see no proportionality between the position with our club now and your club when it actually went into administration, where people clearly were not paid back what was clearly owed to them.

This really is quite simple, I'm afraid, if you'll just look at it in any kind of fair minded way.

Thats over £40 million worth of players. A new state of the art training ground and youth academy being built and £50 million cash every year with the security of another £38 million should they be relegated.

we are doing fine at our club thanks, i would just worry about your own little club down west, never sign sigs or caulker, you have Tate on a 3 year contract which you should be very worried about.

So, on that logic, you only brought down half the businesses you otherwise would have done in the Swansea area, because of the genorosity of one individual.
