He aint scored in 11 games now, plus he`s missed 2 penalty`s in that time, time to try something different, if not Earnie, then someone else..

Oh yeah, Earnie lone striker. That'll work!!![]()
His first shot was stupidly wide and the fans applauded it!!! Miller slips in the box down to being pressured and hits the ball over and people call for his head...... Im not sure why, maybe because some people are too thickle and too loved up on Earnie to realise that Miller is 10 times the player Earnie is.
If you all think Miller's role is to score in abundance then your wrong. He would be in the premiership if it was.
If you think playing the lone striker role is easy then you are unfit to comment on his performances.
If you think that playing as a striker = goals goals goals goals and nothing but goals then you are quite frankly an idiot.
Look at all the strikers that dont score in abundance, what kind of strikers are they? Strikers that play to the strengths of the team/target men. Miller can fall into both catagories where as Earnie is 1 thing. A poacher. Someone who's good in and around the 18 yard box. Nothing else.

Earnie comes on shoot, misses, gets applauded, i understand he's a legend and all but still i don't get it.

Earnie was good for the club when he was younger and banging them in but he is not that player anymore. He is a legend yes but he doesnt deserve applause for smashing a ball 20 yards wide and 10 yards over.....as a striker i would be damn well embarrased to have hit that shot! (Thankfully im a centre back so i wouldnt have ever hit that shot)

Would Miller be struggling to score if he had a partner up front with him to feed off and share his work load? Would Miller be struggling to score if he had fast, tricky, creative wingers on either side of him able to beat players and provide decent service with quality balls into the box? Personally I really don't think so.
In his current role, Miller is not playing as an out and out striker, he is doing a job for the team. There's times the ball gets played into the box and Miller isn't there because he has either dropped deep to link the play or he has done an unselfish run down the channel, so in his current role, it is simply impossible for Miller to get in the box as often as he would like to be!
