AARON GUNNARSON SAYS LAY OFF KING KENNY

ARON Gunnarsson is backing team-mate Kenny Miller to end the season with a bang and play a major part in firing Cardiff City towards their promotion dream.

Scottish international Miller hasn’t scored in his last 10 matches, prompting criticism from some quarters, but Gunnarsson says: “The goals will come from Kenny. Any criticism of him simply isn’t fair.”

Miller’s unselfish running and ability in his lone attacking role have been key factors for the Bluebirds this season and will be again at home to Hull City tonight (7.45pm).

Manager Malky Mackay is likely to name the same starting line-up for a third successive match with Miller and Joe Mason, driving forward from deep, the main attacking threats.


Gunnarsson added: “Kenny works hard for the team every game and makes space for others.

“The goals are still coming for us and he is playing a full part. Kenny is a great team player and we’ve all seen the goals he has scored.

“There will be more. He’s had a couple of chances which haven’t gone his way, but Kenny has shown through his career he is a goalscorer.”

Miller has netted 12 goals for club and country this season, while he has fired 181 during his career.

the problem is that you could spend 2 hours putting up what you think is a reasoned argument against these people, then the next day the same "headline" appears again! it's like f*cking groundhog day and i haven't got the energy for it anymore.
What i have come to realise though is that these messageboards don't represent what the bulk of cardiff city fans are thinking.
EVERYONE i know is happy with the clubs progress this year and when we lose a game i never hear boos at the stadium like i did last year.
So bluebird 77, MG and co are very much in the minority with their continuous bull shit

It's embarrassing for this message board to be the only group of people dull enough to not realise how much of an asset Kenny Miller is. Having an opinion is fine but to slag our best striker off without just cause is damn right stupid. You fancy getting real and learning what being a lone striker entails? Because if you fancy learning it and playing it then you'll realise it's not as easy as FIFA mate.

This is heaven compared to the bad days i remember clapping our players off and singing we love you cardiff after losing away to york northampton, scarboro , walsall and many others i could only dream of the teams we play now with the squad we have. christ i remember getting excited because we drew bristol rovers home in the cup
