Five year price freez

Sun Mar 11, 2012 11:27 am

If we don't get into the Prem we are going to lose thousands of season ticket holders, we have built on our fan base, season tickets in particular, but to keep them we need promotion, myself and others who work every other weekend and can't get to every home game will stop buying ST and pick only the games that we can get to, are there any other fans out there who are in the same predicament as myself?

We have been spoilt over the last few years with two Wembley finals, and being in the play offs, and the thought of being a mid table club would crease me, as a supporter of over 50 yrs I still cling to the dream that I will see the City in the top flight of football but it could be later rather than sooner. :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

Could not agree more Steve, especially also when a lot of our games are being taken away from our traditional Saturday's, all the rubbish we have to put up with at away games etc., supporters I've talked to over the last couple of months are getting fed up.
We had promotion in our sights and we did not go for the juggler, I honestly believe, money was not made available and that malkey was being political with regards his employers.
I think we are in for a tough time again :ayatollah:

What I find frustrating about the current system that we play is, hit high balls to the smallest player in the team, not a hope in hell of winning the ball, and we don't win enough of the second ball that is headed back, when we play the ball on the floor we look usefull, and score more goals, so why do we persist in the high ball? I know you mix it up now and again, but we over do the high ball. I don't see a great deal of difference with the way we play this year to the way we played last year, admitted DJ had a better squad of players but I thought MM would play more football which has left me dissapointed. :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

I've been asking the same question for a while now but no-one has the answers. Why have we changed from good passing Football and not giving the opposition time on the ball which was so successful for us to sitting too deep, not closing down fast enough and hoofing the ball upfield which 7 times out of 10 loses us posession? :(

I think that if it wasn't for the Carling Cup Final and the incentive to purchase another ticket for re newing your season ticket many fans would have not renewed their season ticket at the end of the season. There are some who probably have not renewed their ticket at this time anyway. This is even more so if we do not get promoted and show no form.

In todays client people have less money in their pocket and are being more careful as to what they spend their money on. I have seen comments on the Forum in recent days from fans who believe that the quality of football has not been the same this season. With hard choices to make where to spend their money and their thoughts about the quality of football we probably will lose some season ticket holders at the end of this season.
