Crewe's Nick Powell

Sun Mar 11, 2012 1:49 am

Did anyone see his goals on the football league show? :o His first was a belter from 35 yards plus with his right foot, the second was a great touch and a controlled finish with his left foot. He's only 17 and based on the goals alone, he has talent. Definitely one to keep an eye out for.

Crewe have a few lads in the England youth - Max Clayton is also another to watch out for. But I'd say Nick Powell looks the most promising lad there.

Out of interest have many of you been watching or seen any of the NextGen competition? it's the U19 champions league introduced this season.

Barcelona strikers Jean Marie Dongou and Ramirez look unbelievable along with Tottenham's Coulibaly and Pritchard... but Gary Gardner of Aston Villa surprisingly is IMO the standout of all the young lads...a real match winner.

Surprisingly, Ajax knocked out Barcelona and it's a Liverpool v Ajax and Inter Milan v Marseille semi final
