Whats your thoughts on him so far.

Dont know what to think yet. He's a good passer and is similar to McPhail in that he adds a calmness to the play. But over the 2 games he's played he's yet to do anything critical.
He's got 3 home games in a row now so it'll be good for him to have the fans behind him, and might just help him settle that little bit faster.
The move is definitely a good choice because it adds more option to the midfield, and hopefully Cowie will get a rest soon and Conway back in. Just fir one game

And why do we need rolling eyes for that?
Good player. Perhaps he hasn't had the biggest effect on the team since he was brought in, but you've got to remember that he's been out injured a fair while. He's got experience of getting promoted, so we can only hope that helps us during the final month or so of the season

Done well today, considering thats his 2nd game in 4 days after an injury.

gets into space well i thought

Quiet today. He was obviously told to play narrow. Neat on the ball, think he's better with more width to his game. Sayin that.....Not sure if he has a change of pace. I'd like to c,
Miller
Mason
Conway. Gunarsson. Whitts. Lawrence.
Taylor. Hudson. Turner. McNaughton
Marshall.
Natural width. Wot u think?

Looks strong, uses the ball well, helps the defense , decent in the air. Can pass and tackle.
Good footballer.
Tidy signing who will win us points.

I thought he has done well, he looked injured when he come off tonight. He set up Masons goal in Brighton and looked like he had a bit of class about him on the ball.

will come good
you dont captain pompey without being a good player

Really good movment...at time he looked a bit out of it sometimes but I think that will come when he has linked up with the lads in a few games.

Looks calm & composed. Tidy on the ball and sprays it about well. Plenty more to come from him.

Adds quality - moved into space well and played the simple pass

rather see him on the right and mason more central

Agree - not sure stuck out wide is the best use of Mason, though he seems to be scoring from there...

Agreed, with Cardiff playing so narrow Mason would be better playing centrally to exploit spaces with his movement which he does pretty well at.

Give him time to get fit ,he is a quality player and never gives less than %100, wish we still had him.
From a Pompey fan.

What I have seen of him , he looks comfortale on the ball ,good movement and a good fit for the team.

He wasn't far off our MOTM at Brighton after Marshall IMO!
He looked a bit tired yesterday, which is only to be expected after being out for 3-4 weeks and after the shift he put in at Brighton!
Surprised to hear people favouring Mason through the middle after his 2 assists from out wide yesterday, but IMO Lawrence will give us more of an all round game from the middle, especially with his defensive qualities!

Mason is just a natural. Causing the wurzels grief out on the right with Kev
then popping up inside the box on the left for the winner. Id give him a free
role, but closer to the oppositions box. He's getting better and better

looks a cracking signing..think he will only get better in our team
