Govt Cutbacks

Sorry gang but I've gotta get this off my chest.
Due to the government cutbacks my disabled wifes benefits are being cut.
I've now been informed by our friendly DSS that if I give up my full time job and only work part time for £100 a week. With tax credits and care allowance I won't be much worse off!
Where is the logic in that?
Anyway let's smash Bristol City tomorrow!

I'm no lover of the Laborious Party either, mind. They haven't covered themselves in glory.

I know that things need to be taxed ect, but in the week there was an Article in the Sun (Sorry), that £24 worth of petrol is costing the British driver £110. Total rip off. No wonder people don't work.

I have to have a car to get to work, and have to work, to get a Car. Some times you do question whether it's easier to quit your job and live off the state. Seems to be working for alot of people these days.

That's the Tory way, cut everything and destroy the economy.

P.S I know you were on about benefits and I'm sorry to hear about that, but I'm excited.

Its crazy fella......they just lump anyone on benifts into the same bracket.My mate who has 6 kids was advised by some idiot at the dss a few years back to work part time as he would be better off.........Madness.The whole system is a shambles, you should be better off in work.

The systems is shafted all over lets face it, who wants to work for less money than they would get on the social when you add up bills like rent or mortgage,car, council tax, gas ,electric, phones, internet,food ect ect. There is no insentive there for people to work these days lets be real.
I know people myself who are better off with there two kids being on the dole and would be £70 a week worse off if he was still working at his old job figure that one out ,thats where the goverment should say ok we will pay your rent for this guy to go out and work make it worth his while for him to atleast have some ££ over in his back pocket plus they save money from what there was giving his family with two kids ,otherwise whats the point for him and many others in situations like this around the country no wonder are country is fucked money wise.
