It's not a fact that we should be overly proud of. However if you look at arrests stats v banning orders then a different story is told. Last season Man Utd had over 300 arrests yet they have very few banned. It seems to me that courts in s wales dish out banning orders for all football related offences whereas other courts in different areas issues fines and warnings. Just goes to show the lack of consistency with British justice.

Not being blinkered. We have plenty of morons. The point i am trying to make is that some courts are more lenient than others. My best mate is a man utd fan. I've got to know his cousin who is a bit of a lad. He has been arrested 3 times in his life. 1 for ABH (non-football) and twice for football related incidents (1st being pissed 2nd was fighting/affray). Despite this he has never been banned and he fully admits that he is lucky to still hold his season ticket. The vast majority of our fans who get nicked get a 3 year banning order.

Historically the problem is worse but I've seen no trouble at the CCS and over past few seasons i have been to a fair few away games (WBA, Reading, Watford, Oxford, Southampton, Wembley, Bournemouth plus a few more) and the only minor trouble i saw was at Reading when 20 or so CCFC tried to get at a few Reading who had attempted to get into away end. We're not perfect but compared with 80s and 90s we are well behaved.

We got family club of year award which is a testimony to the strides we have made. I take my 8 year old and 15 year old into pubs before games-would never have done so 15 years ago.

You can't shed a reputation overnight,it'll take years.It's non existent in Swansea now and and getting that way at yours by the sounds of things.The courts are doing an excellent job.

football banning orders in swansea is last on the list, after 1/ possession of a class a drug, 2/ stealing cars, 3/ illegally selling pegs, 4/ no tv license in a caravan, 5/ trying to move the gower into swansea.6/ being a nuisance at football.
