Brighton fan in peace

Hey all!
Very enjoyable game last night, you guys were taticly spot on and kept us at bay for long periods, espically first half, second half was very open and was a good game of football, couldn't help but feel it was two points dropped with us not taking our chances, but meh that's football, great to be were we are in the table so can't complain! Noone gave you a good taste on what your missing out on. ;-)

Also great support from you guys last night and respect to all that travelled espically as you've had two big away days recently, made great noise too a lot noisier than than some teams who brought a full allocation, you guys know how to celebrate a goal never seen the away end go so mental even more so than palace! Also Cardiff fans I met last night very friendly great banter and knew their football makes a nice change to some of the away fans get down here!

Anyway enough ass licking! One question

That bob Marley song you sang last night sounded brilliant, never heard it sang at a football ground before and tbh quite enjoyed it and stuck in my head after the game, but what's it all about, what's behind it, or is it as obvious as the song title!

Its just our way of calming the players, telling them not to worry, cos everythings gonna be alright..

Enjoyed the game myself, and happy to get away from there with a point..

hi
welcome to the forum
Also enjoyed the game last night, would of took a point beforehand to be honest but very disappointed we couldnt hold on to the lead on two ocassions. We were never going to dominate possession against Brighton at the AMEX so I believe Malky got his tactics spot on although it was very frustrating giving the ball away when our midfield should have got hold of it and calmed the tempo
Brighton are a team on the up,fantastic new stadium, top class manager and having the likes of noone and will buckley(who gave us nightmares last season) on the bench shows you have a really strong squad.
Im not sure how the Bob marley song started to be honest, the first time I heard it was during extra time against Palace in the carling cup semi,I just hope our fans can learn the verses aswell, our players love it

anyway ,always good to hear from tidy supporters from other clubs, all the best for the rest of the season,i believe the race for promotion will go all the way to the last game iof the season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Thanks guys, we're hoping to get the upper tier on the east stand filled in the summer and fill the gaps to make it a little more complete looking and boost attendance up to 30,000!

You guys reckon you'l make the playoffs? It's so close atm, and a lot of inconsistency with teams around us, think we can forget chasimg saints, west ham and reading! For us it's great and a bonus to even be in this position, unfortunately we have played more games than anyone else so gotta wait to see how it levels out, pompey (h) Blackpool (a) derby (h) our next 3, 7 points a big possibility! Even if we miss out its been a brilliant season for us, no complaints at all

Was a bit surprised with miller last night, what's up with him atm, spent a lot of the game arguing with the ref and didn't really look bothered, shame ( except last night) cause on his days he 's a class player.

Cheers seagull86
Must agree, all in all a very good evening ,spoke to a far tew BHA fans before & after the game all good banter
in particular a guy by the name of Matt just outside the away entrance, top bloke.
Very immpressed with the stadium, atoms:was very good from both sets of fans, and a pretty good game of footie.
as expected you had the lions share of possession, with our keeper having to make at least 3 excellent saves,
imo a draw was just about right,oh well good luck for the rest of the season. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

and by the way ,dont worry about a thing, every little thing is going to be alright. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Welcome :ayatollah:

Millers certainly split this forum this year, he can be quite hit (west ham first game of the season) and miss (89th minute against Liverpool) ... but for all his off the ball work and link up play he's a great asset for us, just wish he scored more!

As for your side, playoffs is very realistic, you were by far the best team to Come to the CCS when you beat us 3-1, but I think West Ham were better last Sunday (although our tired squad might have made them look better than they actually were) Hopefully see you in the Playoffs! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The fact that we are neck and neck with a team like Brighton for the playoffs shows how well Cardiff are doing this season, big money signing in mckail -smith,bringing in the likes of buckley whos class and all the momentum in the world after an excellent season last time while Cardiff had to totally rebuild from scratch and pick themselves up after another play off defeat

A good post. I have to say I was quite impressed with your stadium, it is a lot better than ours! Three little birds is our new song at the City! :ayatollah:
