Second Half/Late Goals

I don't think its a coincidence but why have we conceded so many second half/late goals?

We have 13 goals scored against us in the first half and 30 in the second many of these being in the last 20 minutes. Is it a case of sitting back with what we have got, fitness/tiredness or just a lack of concentration?

No..It`s to do with a good inform side playing at home, and throwing everything forward to get an equaliser..

What about the rest of the games. We have conceded 30 goals in the second half, 21 of those being in the last 20 minutes ! There must be a reason.

Its the tactics mate, the honeymoon period for Malky is over for me. He has done wonders to get us where we are in such a short space of time but he and the team has to learn the lesson that once you get in front you don't sit on your lead and go in reverse, i.e defend,defend,defend you go up a gear and kill the game off. When we went 2 - 1 in front last night straight after their goal their crowd went dead, they were shell shocked. We should have gone for it there and then and killed them off. What did we do? sit back and the inevitable happened.

We do seem to sit back sometimes. We could have beaten Posh by 7 or 8 goals but it so happens they got the only goal of the second half. We conceded three late goals against Blackpool after being 1 up.

Ipswich and Millwall have let in 17 goals in the last 15 mins. Cardiff & Bristol 16. Reading 3 ! Theres the difference. Not all teams concede late goals.

dont want to keep on about subs but how often has mm used ours other than for injuries and also the timeing of subs is important fresh legs etc
