Am I missing something here?

Tonight we got a point away from home against one of the most in form teams in this division who are also challanging for promotion/play offs.

They bossed the posession (57% - was a lot more at half time).
Had 15 shots on goal
Had 7 corners

...and claimed a last minute goal to scratch a draw.

Meanwhile, we had 3 shots on target, and scored 2 goals...

Seriously, lets get some perspective of the season as a whole. We would have taken this position at the beginning of the season when the rebuilding project started.

Yes, we would have all liked more players here, but it hasn't happened for whatever reason.

Get behind the team and stop looking for negatives at every opportunity!!!

You have to understand the frustration though. We do try to be positive but constantly get let down. We have been rubbish for a while now.

Constantly let down? Are you serious?!

At the beginning of the seaon we had about 6 first team players left from the team that finished the last game of the previous season.

It was a TOTAL rebuild of a squad. I would have been content with mid table based on the task ahead of us with strong teams being relegated from the Premiership too.

The being 'constantly let down' I can only assume relates to late goals being conceeded, or from fans favourite players not being used - ie. Earnie (who i believe is past it - would much rather see Mason up top and Conway getting a bit mroe game time).

See the bigger picture. Embrace where we are, and get behind the boys for the final push.

I expected a mid table finish but.... we were in a cracking position even up there with 2nd spot, all we needed was a bit more strength in the squad and we could have maintained that position. Now i dont know why we didnt strengthen obviously, but Malky said funds were there so wheres the players? Donny even managed to get piquione. Thats what let me down the most and we are paying for it. Rubbish performance yet again, lack of quality.

Earnie or Mason up front for a change please. Miller needs a break, he just cant score and we need a goal scorer. Maybe Miller would come back stronger, but we gotta try something.

totally agree. bit of glory with the carling cup, which was one of the best days out ive had with the city by the way , and its all about the prem. a lot of us would have taken where we are now at the start of the season, i,d have bitten your feckin hand off. be positive, enjoy it , i bloody am, ups and downs , thats football
