West Ham and Reading will go up automatically.
Southampton via the play-offs.
I think along with Southampton, Birmingham are nailed on for play-offs then two out of us, Boro, Blackpool and Hull. Maybe a late surge from Ipswich but they may have left themselves with too much to do. I think over two games against Southampton or Brum we would fall short.

That's why we make sure we play hull or boro in the semis and brum/soton in the finals.

On current form, I know it won't be us, although I hope I'm wrong obviously.
I'd go for West Ham and Southampton with Reading in the play offs. They'll be smarting after last years capitulation to The Jacks.
As were not good enough, I'd rather miss out on the play-offs rather than go through all the heartache again for a third time. It's a great way to go up, but I couldn't handle another Wembley disapointment.

i think west ham will get up into the 90pts, taking reading up with them. 7 wins on the trot, they are hitting form at the right time. i think soton will drop a couple of pts and will take the play offs with brum, boro and as you say 1 from hull, brighton, blackpool and us.

One of ipswich, leeds or Leicester will make a late surge. I may be shot down as I cnt be ased to look at the table after last night.
west ham and Southampton auto's birmingham via playoffs

we will make the playoffs and I agree the top 3 spots look like they have been filled by West Han, Southampton and Reading.
West Han and Reading for automatics but I still think we are well in the hunt for the playoffs.
Don't fancy Boro they have a ball breaker of a run in and I still think Leicester are dark horses to sneak in, just a little bit of consistency and Leicester and they could well upset the applecart.
Hull need to learn to score more goals but they do have a good defence and are consistent and Blackpool have a run of 4 games coming up that will go a long way to deciding their fate. But Blackpool do have an easier set of fixtures in April.
Birmingham have a few hard games and a really hard last 3 fixtures but they should have enough whilst Leeds may have Warnock now but not a lot more.
So for me the 4 playoff places will go to Southampton, Birmingham, Cardiff and Blackpool or Leicester.

Kick blackpool out of there, and that has to be the strongest play off line up ever

Fancy Southampton as champions as they have the easiest run in and a solid defence. Reading to sneak ahead of West Ham to get the next auto spot.
Play Offs : West Ham, Blackpool, Birmingham, Cardiff.
Did fancy Boro but they have a really tough run in.

Just looked at the table think Leicester and Ipswich got too much to do.
Hoping Hulls lack if goals will put paid to their challenge.
All will be irrelevant for us if we dont start to click again soon. Need a striker big time.

We got your fav player polo rudy, No doubt MM would put an injured rudy out on the bench rather than have earnie in the squad

westham southampton auto boro through the playoffs beating brum in the final
Wed Mar 07, 2012 4:23 pm
West Ham, Reading, Leeds. We will lose to Leeds in the Play-off Final.
Wed Mar 07, 2012 4:25 pm
I cant see Reading keeping this form up tbh.
Top two I would go for West Ham and Southampton
Even the Brum have been excellent this season I have a weird feeling both them and Blackpool will drop out and be replaced with Cardiff and Leicester or Hull
So Reading, Boro, City, Leicester/hull
of course then Cardiff to win the play/offs

Reading have only dropped 2 points from a winning position all season which is the best record in the division. They have also won 18 points from losing positions in matches and are the 2nd best defence which makes them a very resolute team.
For me they are looking a good bet to make the automatics.
