Let's be honest - Rudy isn't up to it. This isn't a case of knocking him for the sake of it - I think he has tried his best. He mistimes jumps and flicks are poorly directed. He has a poor touch and doesn't look likely to hit the target when put in space as he was on Sunday. It was almost merciful to see him go off and it looked as if he wanted to get off the pitch just before he went down. Lack of confidence or just a real lack of ability?

I agree that he needs time but unfortunately we haven't got that much time and really need some experience up front - someone who is a real threat.

Exactly I think he's a decent player with reasonable potential. He might not possess the best touch but he's OK

think it also shows that we need a big man up front becouse we cant play the ball on the floor well enough if your passing is good enough to keep the ball from being hoofed up field we would not need a big man up front (look how big messi is but he scores for fun) befor anyone says it i know we are no barcelona but see my point

Totally agree for once! Why do we pump long high balls to Miller. We really need a target man if we're going to play that game. But then we need pace to get behind the defence and cross and we haven't got that unless Lawrence is able to do it.
