Perhaps the Marley hit "Waiting in Vain" would be more appropriate

I don't know the answer but someone must take the blame for the lack of incoming players whether signings or on loan, if there is a logical explanation then why not come forward and announce it, if we cannot afford it then just say so and cut out the bullshit. LL is a great addition but on his own then a waste of money because he alone will not make the necessary improvement.

Rubbish. Every modern club has a " fixer" who sells the club to the player and finalizes deals. Gill/man u. Levy/ Spurs. Brady Gould/ west ham . David Dein used to be the master of it at arsenal. The days of it being soley up to the manager are long gone.
