Anyone know if he could play for us in the play off final if we decided to extend his loan spell (and if we get there of course!) Was he signed more than 93 days before the date of the final?

Only signed for 1 month at the moment, need to agree extension with Newcastle who only allowed 1 month

If his loan is extended for the maximum allowable period which is 93 days it will run out on 12th May.

Maybe OK for the playoff semi finals, if we make it, but not the final.

What I have seen of him so far will not get a look in when Liam Lawrence starts playing, so will be surprised to see him staying longer than 1 month to be honest

So far i dont rate him but he is playing in a team bang out of form so that may be a tad unfair

I honestly think he is a young up and coming player learning is trade, but from our position can we afford that with us trying to get promoted, i think Lawrence may help us out in the experience dept

As he has only signed for a month I think it is possible for us to sign a new agreement/contract with Newcastle to have him for the full 93 days

I wondered if that might be the case too. I know he was poor in his first couple of games but I thought he got on the ball quite a bit against WH. He has definitely got a bit of quality about him and I think he has got a lot to offer us. Would be handy for a PO final

Thought that he did ok when he came on yesterday. Agree, he got on the ball a fair bit and tried to create things. He did not change the outcome of the game but it was certainly his best performance in a City shirt to date.
