Stuck in the 70;s wrote:I can not believe the venom of some of our supporters with our recent performances.
Yes they could have been better and yes we should have bought a winger and a striker to step in to our first X1 in January.
But pull yourself away from our self obsessed love of the City and be objective.
In the summer we had............
A new manager and back room staff.
No First team squad.
We had lost quality Championship and in Bellamy's case Premiership players.
We had a very limited budget.
Now I don't think Sir Alex could have done better than Malky.
What he has done in such a short space of time has been truly remarkable.
At the start of the season I thought we would be lucky to finish mid table but prepared myself for a relegation dog fight.
Yet here we are in March having been to Wembley only a few points off the play offs, fantastic no brilliant, out of this world.
I feel we as fans over react and are as changeable as the weather with our expectations.
We have vastly over achieved this season, can anyone with hand on heart say we haven't?
Our club is financially stable, spare a thought for Portsmouth and then you realise how lucky we are!
Malky is building and the end of the season will see some of DJs players out of contract.
Next season we will be stronger and it will be more of Malky's team with his players.
Personally whatever else happens this season is a bonus.
We are more than capable of going on a winning run just as the teams around us will have a blip in form.
I have never lost the faith, I ask that you don't and support our fantastic team.
BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDS!
