Hi all, first post, I had a phone call a few hours ago from a good friend of mine (Wednesday lad) who said the same thing.

On loan until the end of the season, done deal, pending medical apparently?

First time he's been in contact with football info, and he isn't a bullshitter, so there could be some legs to this rumour.

I would love Earnie to get back into the team, but if he's not going to play for the rest of the season then he may as well be loaned out to League One.

Carl he isn't going to play if he stays or goes, at least if he goes it's 13k off the wage bill.

I wouldn't mind earnie going as long as we got another striker lined up.

This stupid 5 subs rule has cost earnie big time, so if he's not getting a look in then it makes good football sense to let him go and free up some wages to hopefully get in a quality striker who suits our style of play better.

He might be half decent in our division if given a chance!

You've got to feel sympathy for Earnie, he has'nt really been given a chance. Maybe if he could learn to speak in a Scottish accent he'd be in the starting eleven every game.

Yes, I agree I would let him play now if it was up to me.

Really sorry that it has come to this because I still believe Earnie has it in him to score goals, certainly at Championship level, and if this happens I will expect MM to have a replacement ready to step in immediately.

As hard as the guy works I think most will think KM is not the free scoring forward we need to beef up our promotion attempt. The last month has seen the collapse of any hope of automatic, if we ever had a realtistic chance, but now we must get the people in to sustain a challange at the playoffs.

In what was a disappointing result yesterday was a more worrying situation for me and that was when Rudy went off all semble of shape in the team pretty much disappeared. Whilst we only lost because of two terrible pieces of defending in my opinion we lacked shape and as a result we struggled to get a solid platform in the game.

We not only ave a small squad but for me a poorly balanced squad which with the injury to Rudy has got a whole lot smaller. We absolutely must beef up the squad with some experienced forward players and do it in time for the game Wednesday night.
