centre backs 5 .....and the west ham forwards were nothing special
gunnerson 6 for his run and shot
whitts 6
cowie 6
mason 5 .... not sure what position he was ........the west ham midfield were 7s or better
rudy 4 ...had a chance and failed to shoot
miller 5
sub 5 ....not sure what position he was either

I'll have a go;
Marshall 6 Flapped at one cross in the first half and was beaten by a very good finish by Nolan. Generally came off his line well in the first half to cut out through balls. Confidence seemed to drain in the second and nearly got caught out by Maynard.
MacNaughton 4 As bad as I can remember Kev playing and deeply involved in mistakes which resulted in both West Ham goals. Looks like a player who needs a rest.
Hudson 6 I thought generally he did OK although he did have a sticky patch at the start of the second half and like Marshall seemed to lose a bit of confidence. Got it back though and did OK.
Turner 6 Some of his diagonal crossfield passing was poor today but battled throughout. Generally did OK I thought.
Taylor 7 MOTM for me did his job well and did his best to get forward. Overall another good showing from a reliable player.
Cowie 5 Worked hard as usual but things just didn't seem to happen for him but as you expect never gave up.
Gunnarson 5 Again worked hard with one excellent run in the first half but seemed to run dowm a few cul de sacs in the 2nd. Never gave up though.
Whitts 6 Tried his best and very unlucky with the free kick that hit the post. Was given no time on the ball and his influence suffered as a result. Becoming a regular theme Stop Whitts Stop Cardiff. Is it that simple?
Mason 5 Made a few good runs first half but struggled to make much impact. Never gave up as usual and will have better days.
Gestede 5 Looked very tired and lacking confidence to me even before his injury. Maybe the timeout will help because he looks in need of a break.
Miller 5 Hasn't scored since Noah was a boy now. Worked hard as usual and never gave up and was unlucky when hitting the bar at the end. I think his confidence could have done with that going in. Will have better days no doubt.
Vuckic. 6 I thought he looked like he could make something happen but it never quite did. Always showing for the ball and has plenty of confidence. Another who will have better days.
