Previous thread regarding Rudy

Just read Annis thread where Rudy was mentioned about not having it for this division. I totally agree . Someone said " how can you knock him he gives 100% every week, " sorry but Passion, Committment, Diving in etc doesnt win you games ,it makes 99% of fans fall in love with you but doesnt win games.

Just because we have players who will die for the shirt doesnt mean we will win games , each and every one of us will name one or two players we would change but 4 points from 18 is not good enough,

The cup has cocked our season right up. since the Palace win ( on penalties ) we have played 6,,, won 1 drawn 1 lost 4. its no coincidence that this has happened .

was the cup final worth it ??? personally id say no but there again hindsight is a wonderful thing

Rudy may not be a kid but some players develop a lot later.

Look at Steve Morison, he is 28 and only 3 seasons ago he was playing for Stevenage Borough and now scoring goals in the prem.

Rudy seems to have been made a scapegoat despite him only playing for 35mins.
Miller another person but he hadnt been scoring so he will expect criticism.

I was personally more concerned about our midfield today rather than our strikers, it needs freshening up.

Rudy just needs time I believe he will be a very good player

As somebody mentioned he has come from the french 2nd division to the english championship thats a huge jump for any player.

I wouldnt start him every game but there is definetly potential I see him more as a support player than an all out goalscorer
