Does Malky Mackay need to freshen up his ideas?

Sun Mar 04, 2012 4:02 pm

No Conway (or recognised winger)
Rudy starting?
Cowie out too wide?
Whitts playing 40yds too deep?
Mcnaughton needing a rest/Blake starting?
Heaton?
Earnie?

So many questions and propositions.....
What you think?

I'd bring kiss and Conway in, also Lawrence if he is fit.

Conway isn't good enough really, migt have had more of an impact, but much more than the players starting today, don't think so.

We played better when Rudy was on the field, then he got injrued, people moaned, he went off and suddenly we went far worse.

Cowie I agree with, more effective central and is the opposite of your typical out and out winger.

Whitts perhaps, I think we need him there to cool down the defence and control and view the game from deep, but when McPhail's in the side he should be pushing up as McPhail can do that job.

Kev - 2 goals down the right today, perhaps time for Darcy but he wasn't very good mid-week when given a chance for Wales.

Earnie - I'm sorry but again i fail to see him do any better, Malky sees these players day in day out.

Heaton - Anyone stupid enough to blame Marshall for today should quit football, it's unfair on Heaton but there we go, wouldn't have made a difference.

I do not understand why Conway has not featured in the last few games!!! I thought he was really good against Palace in the 2nd leg! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Conway should start
I hope Lawrence gets fits soon and gets a game ( but apparently I'm not allowed to think that as I know nothing about football for saying this according to three or four of our fans  )
We have no right winger as Cowie also seems to be inside
Blake should start and Mason up front
Miller hasn't been able to score and needs to be dropped but his work rate is just amazing imo

You can't play Darcy - He can't pass water

Re: Does Malky Mackay need to freshen up his ideas?

It truly is a mystery, Conway could have applied some good pressure against Westham and Kev should have been subbed for a blake 30 minute blast. maybe he's pre-empting the busy month by keeping players as fit as possible? But then you have players getting over exhausted!!? :? Only malky knows lol

No merlin not in my eyes your being negative theres nothing wrong with are squad or the players you mention, seriously fans like you should go watch the scum down the road.See what its like merlin because if anyone else posts a thread like this including myself with what you put in the OP ,You and others would gangbang eachother in there to belittle the thread poster ,your a two faced double standards mod or have you finally seen the light

I really expected Conway to come on atleast 30 minutes before full time. The right wing was constantly overexposed because Mason and Vuckic aren't wingers so they weren't spending much time on the wing.

I felt the same at Wembley when Mason was playing right midfield but Liverpool's strikers were so shite I just forgot about it.

You're thick as f**k aren't you?

As a moderator - when the board goes quiet or not much is being posted I try to pose different questions from each angle to get members talking and posting! It's what keeps a good MB going.

If you don't like it f**k off to the other MB - no one rates your shit posts anyway.

Adam you and I disussed over a pint before the game about users that probably don't exist, this is probably one of them. Like a spambot that appears only after something positive has been mentioned. Like a bad smell it turns up and lowers the tone! ;)

agree with most, conway has a rest, comes in does superb, gets a couple of goals and gets dropped again. cowie needs to be in the middle, lets hope with liam we can now do that. id go with gunnarsson whitts, cowie, conway and lawrence.

super kev was shocking today, id have brought blake on earlier. def think darcy deserves an opp. heaton also deserves his place imo. rudy shouldnt start again and earnie for the bench for me..

How am i thick? All i have done is pointed out what you do to others when THEY post the same type of things in a thread your on the hate wagon along with the other pixel power kings to do with anything negative ,YOU have posted questions as you call it but think them yourself ,maybe tell us what you think or will it be negative as you always put it.

Then the bit about being a mod when it goes quite that gave me a chuckle merlin as if the threads have dryed up this afternoon  pull the other one.

I shall not be f*cking off as you put it to the other messaqge board as i do not even go on there for a start, as for my posts people do rate them because they say HOW IT IS, im a realist and without realists on this board what would it be merlin??
I have found out over the past six months your a everythings good no matter what happens fan but thats where we differ merlin.

TBH i think your one of the shittest mods on here even the poll that was up (WHICH MOD SHOULD BE REMOVED) rated you to be removed as mod four times more votes you had to what others got voted  and reasons in them off people, but it did not last long only and hour if that as expected  . All you do is name call if the post does not suit your opinion WE SHOULD ALL f**k OFF TO THE OTHER BOARD i mean what sort of mod helping annis out on here says some of the things you say to people. What makes it worse is you have said it to others including myself when starting threads just for saying things on the points you mention in your OP ,thats why i say your a double standards mod FACT :ayatollah:

moo cow you say blake cant pass water ,but dont moan about mcnoughtons dreadful distribution as is hudson and turner, seems a lot on here dont like blake ,and use the he cant pass to slate him ,also no coincidence that mcnoughton form drops when conway out of side, imo taylor/cowie ,mcnoughton / conway ,,kiss/gunnarson , hudson / turner,,whits roaming free, mason lone striker is the way to go these sets of pairs work best together :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: i would go with heaton in goal subs would be marshall miller lawrence blake earnie
