Bit of both methinks, if Whitts free kick goes in it only papers over the cracks. Our heroes of last week were not tired they have had 7 days but were tired creatively and mentally. Thats worrying me at the mo, we need a Reading type winning run, get that morale sky high again. Very painful today
But we are gonna bounce back, Lawrence is an excellent championship player and will fit in well. Onwards and upwards

Bit of both I think as well. Beaten by a better team. It's been a hard 7 days for us though.

Dont feel your confidence at all.
I recall last season when we went through this sort of thing and one or two kept saying "bad day at the office". Too many bad days it turned out to be in the end and things are going the same way this season. it is time ot see where it is going wrong and correct it for next season I say.

I think we made them look good today. Westham were pretty poor themselves. First half was one of the worse halfs ive ever seen. Both teams giving the ball away constantly. Time to get behide them for Brighton

Agree with the part that we look tired but I don't think West Ham played that well today and stats from the game show it was a lot closer than everyone is making out (4 shots on target each, 12 shots off target each almost 50% possession and we hit the woodwork twice) On another day we may well have scraped a draw....I'm staying positive

Stats show nothing, they had a number of good chances they had off target, a few crosses they couldn't convert. They battered us in fairness.

we are a very tired football side. We were second to the ball all day long. Wembley is a good day out but two good cup runs have cost us dearly in the league. Feck the cups. We must set winning the Championship as our target next season and use the cup games as a learning curve for our younger players.

Hangover
I am a realist, we are not in the same league as West Ham in terms of finance and squad, all their subs would get into our team. But, after Rudy went off I couldn't see what we are trying to do. It reminds me of the no plan B debate associated to DJ.

I thought West Ham wanted it more than us today. Very disappointing, we looked very stale today and I am still wondering why Malky didn't change it. Conway coming on would have at least given us something different. West Ham were well organised and sussed us out. Their first goal there were 3 players around their man and we let him slip the ball through to Nolan to score. Their second goal I am still wondering how McCartney was allowed to run all the way down the left. I thought Vuckic in particular was guilty of pulling out of a few tackles. We let West Ham come down here and pick up a comfortable win. Not good enough I'm afraid.

Bit of both I'd say. Small squad and a very long and tiring cup run is costing us. However all is not lost. At least we can win 12th spot now.

We were very flat today, heavy legs and no urgency about us at all, this squad of players had better stop feeling sorry for themselves and quickly!!!!

Sorry mate, your living in the past. Earnie was good for us once, but he's not the answer now. He'll be in the Welsh League next season.
