Thinking of the Pompey situation!
If our club went under and you still need that football fix!
Could you support another club! A club to follow and a club to love!!
I would find it hard! Who do you choose? Could you choose?
Weird thought!!

Just a simple no.
Watch games on tele mainly, go to the odd random game but it wouldn't be the same.
Prob keep my money to follow Wales abroad more.

I'd maybe go back to watching everton at goodison, a few times a year
which i did as a kid with old man,
gotta have a team really wouldnt ever watch swansea or bristol or newport

Yes! I agree with that. Think about the Pompey fans what will they do?
I would hate my life if there was no Cardiff city! And for that reason I feel bad for the fans!
We always fight and hold on for promotion but I'm so so glad I have a club to support

I've always liked wrexham, I'm realy glad there doing well in the blue square and would love to see them back in the league proper! There deffo my second team if that's posible to have one, but I could never replace my home town club cardiff with them! If cardiff went bust, what ever came next, afc cardiff or whatever then that's what I'd be supporting

Good to see other posters still awake
Its so weird to ask yourself the question though! Ain't it?
Sat Mar 03, 2012 3:45 am
simply no, i know it seems silly and biased, but i dont understand why anyone wouldnt want to support this great football club!
if it happened id support the newly formed afc cardiff!

I would support Barcelona. I deserve it after 30 years of following City. Seriously though, I 'support' Brisbane over here and we won the double last season. However, it is not a patch on following City. If Cardiff City ever went bust then I would help set up a non league team like Wimbledon fans did after our Sam destroyed them. We would get back to league football again. We are the greatest team in football the world has ever seen.

I doubt it, would probably go and watch a few Llanelli games.
Id be watching closely to see if an AFC Cardiff would start up.

Don't know why but I've always had a soft spot for QPR
But I'd wait till Bothroyd left first

Jules, QPR are one of Lutons main rivals, a lot of hatred there.

Yeah true,
Wouldn't buy a shirt though
It's got Air Malaysia on it
Thinking about that rivalry u don't see many QPR shirts round here!
Think Watford are the main rivals

I do and have done since I was around 8 years of age , Wolves! But my 3 season tickets are with Cardiff City
Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:07 am
No, You start supporting a team when your a kid, Cardiff City in my case, then it's built into your DNA
Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:13 am
I could never support another team... I think the passion would disappear for me and when someone asked me "Who do you support?", it'll still be the reply of "Cardiff City".
Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:27 am
I'd probably watch merthyr town and hereford united plus afc cardiff or whatever they reformed under
Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:29 am
No.
I'd probably just go and play vets footy, I could't watch parks footy and can't really give a shit for any other club.
My only interst in footy is playing and City. I even watch lower division games on sky to try and spot a future City player.
Might even coach kids or watch Bedwas rugby.
It would break my heart if this club ever went through and I'd certainly want to help out 'starting again'.
Good luck to Pompey - your club is 'more than football'.

i wish angry man aka MG would
Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:13 pm
No unless a Cardiff 2012 was formed
Sat Mar 03, 2012 8:34 pm
Jugging by all the Cardiff Liverpool fans at wembley I no a lot of are fans support 2 teams already but for me if I had to choose a team it would be Merthyr.
If city were no more I would be devastated and as it stands Cardiff are my 1 and only team and I hope it stays that way I could never support a team far from where I live because I would go and watch em play.
Sat Mar 03, 2012 8:36 pm
I would start supporting Arsenal. They are my second and I live close to London.
Sat Mar 03, 2012 9:03 pm
I'd go back to following rugby more, which judging by the current state of regional rugby would be cr@p! No passion, low attendances, no atmosphere anymore.
Could never support another footy team! apart from my local barry town or ely rangers
Sat Mar 03, 2012 9:03 pm
no way. if city didnt exist, my saturdays would be sky sports . and porn?
Sun Mar 04, 2012 10:23 am
Between 1977 and 1988 I mainly lived in England, and tended to follow the team nearest to where I lived - therefore, for 3 years it was Bradford City, and later on it was Watford, and then Luton. However, although I followed those teams closely, and Watford and Luton both had their best ever seasons whilst I was watching them, my heart was still in Cardiff, and always will be.
I could follow another team, but it wouldn't be the same.
