Wanted - Someone to Frame a shirt! (Sorry To Post Here)

Fri Mar 02, 2012 10:08 am

(Sorry to post here but...)

Hia,

I am looking for someone to do a neat framing of the Limited Edition Carling Cup Final shirt along with the programme, ticket stubs and picture (I would also like a plaque with the frame).

Can someone PM me if you do it, or knows someone who does it. Just need a frame and plaque.

Thanks,

Dan

Guys,

Thanks for your help.

I have booked this in with him, and for anybody else wanting framing, he will do a discount for any member on the Forum :ayatollah:

Great Guy!

Also,

Does anyone know how I could get this signed? Or who I need to speak to in Cardiff about getting it signed?

Thanks. :ayatollah:

Pop down to the training ground or wait outside main entrance before a home game.

Is this the only way to get it done? I work every day of the week (so won't be able to get down The Vale). And it would be difficult to get them all to sign it in the home games.

Unless of course you know someone. You use to be able to give our club stuff and every THursday they would get it signed for you.I dont know if that still happens.

Guys,

Don't bother contacting the club for getting a shirt signed lol. This was the response I have from Julian Jenkins, and my reply to him.

Julian,

Thanks for your response.

I can understand fully your commitment to charities etc… But it is disappointing to hear that you won’t look after the Fans (Like myself who have donated over £8000 into Cardiff City FC over the last 8 years). Seems another prime example of Football becoming far more commercialised if you ask me. For players not to be able to give 3 seconds of their time to sign a shirt, well… That is beyond me.

Not to worry… I will try and find another way of getting the Shirt signed, but as a Loyal Fan I cannot express my disappointment enough.

This is also an issue I will be raising at the next meeting.

Kind Regards,
Daniel Evans

Daniel

As you can imagine, we receive many requests of this nature and the demand for autographed items of memorabilia is now overwhelming. Therefore, rather than accept or reject certain requests we concentrate on supporting a few specific nominated charities local to our area, and keeping these items as exclusive as possible for our sponsors.

We are sorry that we are unable to assist you on this occasion, but thank you for your continued and loyal support.

Julian Jenkins
