i believe he can make the squad for ireland. he wouldnt be starting the games but he could come off the bench for ireland and it would be a great experiance for him to train with vastely experianced squad and even a chance to play against some of the best sides in europe. masons performance on sunday improved his chances alot, robbie keane recently stated that mason was one of the best players on the pitch on sunday. if the likes of keogh have been making the ireland surely mason has a great shot of going

Would love to see him involved even if he just travelled and trained with the squad etc can only be good for the boy

Great shout. Unfortunately, Trappattoni (sp?) has only just been including McLean from Sunderland and he's been one of the best players in the Premier League. I'm with you and I would take Mason along but sadly I think it may be too late for young Joe.

if mason keeps playing the way he been playing all season im sure he would be looked at and considered to go
