Just spoke to Joe Mason down the gym

I had to say well done to him for Wembley and fair play, he walked over to talk to me. He's a very polite, level headed young man and appreciated my praise. This goes back to the type of character in a player Malky likes to bring in and Joe Mason definitely has the correct character as his performances this season has shown. A mature man on young shoulders who will only get better and better for us.

We just talked about Wembley and he said he was gutted because it could have gone either way, but I told him how proud I and every other City fan is. I also told him he should teach Kenny Miller how to finish, he laughed and said he better keep that one quiet!
