A forum for all things Cardiff City

I have long had a list of things in football that do my head in. These include...
Wingers being offside
Long balls being played up to a short striker
Short corners
No men on the posts
Are there any things in football that really wind you up?

1. players who are only in a team because they can run fast, not because they can do anything with a football....
2. 1966
3. horns and bands at games
4. plastic armchair supporters

goalkeepers getting free kicks for the slightest touch when the defenders are basically rugby-tackling the forwards at corners. Also, when they come out to a high ball with their feet raised as if they're going to karate-kick someone.

People who don't cheer their team on and moan at people who do.
Those that call you an idiot for having an opinion that differs to theirs.
The loyalists who go on a bit too much about how many games they've been to and question why others haven't been to so many.
Criticising a player because he's got different colour skin or is a different nationality, rather than looking at how he's playing.
I could do this all day and it would look like I don't enjoy going to the football, but I do and there are lots of good things about it, too.

Sitting on your own 18 yardline and the back four just hoofing it up past the 5 in midfield to lets say kenny 5ft 6inch miller vs two 6ft 3 center halfs for them to just head it down for one of there players to pick up the 2nd ball seen way to much of that the last 7games

yes supporters who love to moan all the time about their so called team , even after making a Carling Cup Final and pushing a top European team all the way .

Being told to sit down during a game when you're trying to support the team by singing/chanting.
Bands playing in the stands during a game (Pompey fans), it's only acceptable at international games.
Cheats.
The lack of options given to referees to help make better decisions (goal line technology, video replays etc), football is way behind a lot of other sports.
Racism.
Crap stewards (CCS).
Fans who only turn up for the big games.
Fans who leave 10 minutes early.
Fans who constantly moan.
Injury time, they should just stop the clock like they do in rugby, it would make everything easier.
The list goes on and on...
