Spot The Miner

Miner's fortnight.

Taffies fecking everywhere.

Attention, attention on the beach and promenade please!!!

" Now we've a little boy called Dai, he's 4 years old and was found near wall 4, he doesn't know where he's from but he came down on the train with his cousin Dai, his uncle Dai and his Aunty Sharon and her husband Winston.
he's ok he's eating chips in the Beach Inspector's office at wall 3, so would one of you come and get him please coz he wants to go on the ghost train"

I remember that tannoy saying lost child and everytime they did the oldies on the beach would go awe pity. then turn around and shout to their kids or grandkids " see that could be you if you dont bloody listen :(

It was all about free ice cream! Just go up to the lifeguard thing on the end. Start crying and tell them you are lost and they'd give you ice cream. Result! :lol:

Good old times remember them well, it was magic times as a kid then.

Nicked in here a few times as a ten year old to early teens.

It was like wonderland.............

As teenagers we used to climb over the fence at the back of Barry Butlins & always got caught & for a punishment we used to clean the dishes. Barry has seemed to suffer badly since it closed & it seems a pity to see it looking like a ghost town.
