A forum for all things Cardiff City

This is my opinion on the matter. I come on here cos this board seems to represent a cardiff city forum more than ccmb. I believe ccmb can be very good if you can find a cardiff city realted post but all too often i get fed up of sifting through all the political bollox to find a football related thread!
I come on here to talk about cardiff city, football, the match, our team etc. i do like to hear the odd transfer rumour (who doesn't) but all the "ITK" stuff about sam hamman, malaysians etc, you can keep it.
i just dont understand this obsession with being in the know!
I think this is one of the most damaging things sam did (letting average fans believe they have the right to know everything that goes on behind the scenes) it has bred a culture in our club that is unprofessional at best.
I know i'll probably get slated for this post but i just understand why people cant just support their team like any other club.
I've made no secret that i'm not a sam fan and the sooner this debt is sorted the better then perhaps we can forget about him once and for all

I have to admit, I've stayed clear of the updates because I prefer to wait until the player signs and the excitement that comes with it rather than the frustration and sometimes the anti-climax (I'm an impatient lad you see!

).
However, nobody is forced to read the updates. I find it hilarious when people read them and then abuse Carl and Annis for them. If you don't like them, don't read them! Usually, it's just attention-seekers looking to get a rise out of people so rarely is it anyone's criticism worth listening to anyway.

100% agree with this!!
There are a few too many people on this board who claim to know everything, when in fact, it just doesn't matter.
Support the club and be fans on the day with the team, don't try to run the club from the forum. Leave the business side of the club to the BILLIONAIRE BUSINESSMEN that own it

Well said mate. Never have truer words ever been written on this forum. If I didn't know better I would swear it was me who had posted that.

In regards to recent Financial update that has since been withdrawn at the request of Steve Borley,
I said it was a bit of scare mongering and another poster stated it to be a coincidence at the time Sam Hamman pops up again doom and gloom financial statement was released prior to annual financial announcements.
What gets me the most is on Monday the general athomsphere on this board was Buzzing with pride and enthusiasm, then fast forward 24hrs and panic stations again...
Timing is everything And it was I'll timed IMO.
Hopefully we can kick on from last Sunday and with a victory over WHU, maybe repeat the springboard we had at the beginning of the season.
Onwards and Upwards CCFC!!!!!
