Wales U21/ welsh players

Is it just me? Or is anyone else a bit concerned that in the most recent under 21 wales squad, there are NO cardiff players?

where have the days gone where had players like Jame Collins, Chris Gunter, Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey, Darcy Blake ( yes he is with the main squad, which is fantastic) even forgotten players like Joe Jacobson and Byron Anthony, Stuart Fleetwood who moved on playing in the ower leagues, but still got caps at under 21 whilst representing the CAPITAL OF WALES.

I know it's not Malky fault, we need succuess now and need a building job, he is bringing youth through giving the odd chance to players like Ibby Farah, Alex Evans, Theo Wharton who for all we know could be top talent and are young, could be given a chance in later squads, and he does give a chance to these guys to prove themselves such as Joe Rallas and Joe Mason GUTTED both aren't welsh but could be MASSIVE players in the future of Cardiff city.

Whether we go up or not, im really exicted and with Malky's passion and the players he brings in I have every faith success in only just round the corner, I never felt that way with Dave Jones, even when sitting alot top of the championship.

fingers crossed in the off season we bring in a few welsh players, James Collins would be good replacement for gerrard who looks certain to leave, been looking for a striker and Ched evans had been banging goals in for sheff utd is free in the summer. Even players like andy King and Jack Collison, yes would be a bit expensive but goal getting midfielders that would add to the team. and dare i say it, if we were to get promoted, fingers crossed, even re signing a certain mr craig bellamy as we need pacy wingers, and with all the turmoil at Arsenal, and a most likely summer turn around at the Emirates , a cheeky bid for Aaron Ramsey could be less a dream as one would think, whether we are premier league or not?

Any comments teamCCFC? :ayatollah:

Remember that for 5 years under Moans the academy was basically ignored. He had no interest in the youth setup at the club. There was no planning for the future, he was only interested in the current season and getting promoted.
A lot of the young players were well in the system and close to the first team before he arrived and he benefited from that, but did not try to replicate it himself.
It will take another 5 years for this to be sorted and youngsters to start coming through again.
Malky himself has said he has no youngsters close to the first team and was shocked at that.
