I have never liked them and never will, but fair play to them.

Yesterday, a Liverpool fan shook my hand whilst congradulating me about the team doing so well. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Still a few bitters on there want to pretend they were facing Barcelona not a team put together on a shoe strings budget (in comparison). The idea that we only defended is a great idea, apart from we scored last.

Still hats off to the fans on there that can see a good performance :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I was talking to a guy wearing a Liverpool jacket down the local Spar last night. He was originally from Liverpool and moved down to South Wales during the 80's. Fair play, he said by the time it got to penalties he wanted us to win and he couldn't help shouting "well done Heaton!" when he saved the penalty. We talked about the game for a good 5-10 minutes and he had nothing but admiration for us and said he hopes we go up. :ayatollah:

I doubt very much they would have been so complementary if the penaltys had gone in our favour, its easy to be nice when yor team has just won! There still a bunch of whinngin whinning pricks that thinks the world owes them in my opinion

There was one Scouser looking down from the stadium as we were walking up the right hand side concourse who threw a full can of beer at the City fans and then started spitting but that was the only incident I can remember. Not bad out of 30 odd thousand Scousers.

I spoke to a number of liver fans after the game. none of them gloated about their victory. they were all in praise for us. top day out. If we dont go up, and can see clubs coming in for turner, he was class.

We had a few pints in Victoria after the match with some pool fans from Runcorn. They were all all right, from the time we got to London at 9 till the time we left late on Sunday.. No probs what so ever

A great day... I just pray we get the chance again.. Hopefully a win :D

I would never have believed you if you told me 20 odd years ago while watching us play in division 4 that we would ever be this good...

Just need to spend spend spend in the summer.. On quality

I'd say Scousers where in the minority in our end (10000 tops) on Saturday which is sad but not surprising given the fact it's no longer a working class game at the top level.

I bet they wouldn't have said all this if we had won. Would have been stuff like anti-football and parked the bus etc.

If we don't go up Turner will be going.
