Joe Ralls is one of a number of Bluebirds called up to represent their international side this week.
Eighteen-year-old Ralls has made thirteen first-team appearances for Malky Mackay's side this season and will hope to be in contention for England u19's fixture against Czech Republic at Leyton Orient's Matchroom Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Elsewhere there are Scotland call-ups for Kenny Miller and Don Cowie, who could possibly square-off against City team-mate Haris Vučkić when the Tartan Army face Slovenia on Wednesday.
Darcy Blake and Robert Earnshaw are in the Wales squad to face Costa Rica at Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday evening, while Aron Gunnarsson is in contention to face Montenegro with the Iceland team on the same night. The 120 minutes Gunnarsson played against Liverpool on Sunday though could mean he misses out for his country.
In other news, Filip Kiss will be hoping to lead the Slovakia's U21 side when they take on Austria, while Dekel Keinan will be hopeful of first-team international action when Israel host Ukraine.
Cardiff City have had nine international call-ups in total for this round of fixtures.
