i had a plaster put on my arm/wrist yesterday. i can type with one hand very slowly.
my job involves alot of carrying and lifting which i am unable to do, my boss knows i broke my arm but i havent spoke to him about returning to work. what can i expect ?
i will ring shortly, will they expect me to still come in and do different tasks, or will i get sick leave ?
i am happy to go in, because i need the overtime money i earn, but still in pain and cant see what other jobs to do while there apart from working on the counter, but i am to slow for that with one arm.
I havent broke a bone while working before. Maybe some of you have ?

if they have reduced duties, or light duties you should be put on them, otherwise its sick leave.

Go to yor doctors and theyl write you out a sicknote for how ever long the plaster is on! No point going in to work if you can't do the job, take 2weeks off, the pain should have died down by then dependin how badly broken it is!
