The whole back four was immense yesterday.
Kev had a bit of trouble now and again but against a premiership winger he did more than could have been expected of him.
My only defensive worry yesterday was when Whitts found himself at right back after a a quick Liverpool counter. I was shitting myself, there is no way he should ever be allowed anywhere near full back again in his life

You defended brilliantly yesterday. As for your whole defence being superb? Hmmm Mcnaughton got terrorised i thought.
Now Ben Turner

Now Ben Turner

As I said on another thread, Jacks wanking at the thought of buying him if we don't get promoted and they stay up.

If there were any doubts as to whether Turner and Hudds are the best CBs we have, they proved them wrong. Turner had the better game IMO, but Hudson is a natural leader. We clearly suffer in his absence, Gerrard is not as composed or commanding as those two.

I reckon we could get him playing even better with the right conditioning too

I don't doubt there's a lot more to come from him as he's still working his way back from a year out with injury and if Swansea stay up and we don't get promoted Swansea's coaching team will probably be beefed up so I honestly wouldn't argue that you could help him get even better.
But only in that situation.

Been playing very well for a few years now, it was vital he came in but after a while out I was amazed how sharpe he was.

Talking coming out of stadium about Hudson (particularly first half) and Turner ( 2nd half & extra time), two outstanding performances .
If we can keep both fit and suspension free til end of season our chances of going up will increase massively.

Totally agree it's no coincidence we have been leaking goals whilst he has been out for the last few weeks.
