What a player he is in my opinion.
Great balance, good passing game, strong and can mix it up too.
Brilliant signing and for free!!!

Totally agree with you, he's a class act as were many yesterday.
No matter what happens this season the future is bright.

Think we've been lucky with all malkys signings from the summer.. Bargains the lot of them
Mon Feb 27, 2012 8:19 pm

brilliant signing and again pretty much unknown until the start of the season-truly a "malky "player aswell, got the fitness haert and desire aswell as ability

Wasted in the holding role IMO but a quality signing and a massive player for us.

He worked his balls off yesterday! He gave away the ball because he was f**ked!
Hes so passionate!

Great player - watching back now and didn't realise at the time just how well both he and Cowie played yesterday.

chuffed to bits when he signed ive always been a fan of gunnarson since coventry days, told my mate soon as we signed him we got a gem and a young age to!

I said it when he signed and a lot of people laughed at me. Arron Gunnarsson was a class act at Coventry and how we managed to get him on a free I'll never know.

Prem clubs were interested I believe but he wanted to play.
He has improved even this season and will get better as well

The guy is a set piece un-to him self!
Tue Feb 28, 2012 1:22 am
Anyone read his tweet today, says he might not be fit for the next game.
Tue Feb 28, 2012 7:28 am
The next game is for his country hopefully he will have recovered to play on Sunday
Tue Feb 28, 2012 8:10 am
The guy showed guts on Sunday. He could have easily left the pitch as he looked absolutely dead on his feet but fair play to the guy, he kept going and provided that little touch on the ball for Turner's equaliser.

A future City captain in my opinion
Tue Feb 28, 2012 8:49 am
22 years old... seriously... how??? The guy has the maturity and work ethic of a 30 year old who has 80 international caps to his name. He was my star player on FM10 for Coventry and I sold him to Roma for £6m so I loved it when we signed him, especially on a free. He is another player who is fast becoming one of my second favourite players (after Super Kev!).

Why did he not take penalty in the shoot out??,what was the difference in his physical condition to Rudy's condition who of course did take a penalty

Hes so passionate!

Took a nasty forearm smash from Gerrard too and didn't even complain. Excellent signing.

Christ at a guess I would say Gunnar must have covered 3 or 4 times more ground than Rudy during the game.

Bit OTT surely, as it makes it sound like Rudy contributed very little to our cause, when in fact, he was far more effective for us, than Andy Carroll was for them!

Not a dig at Rudy, just the way we played. He was the outlet and ha to stay upfront. He did his job.
A box to box player in gunnarson mould will always cover a lot more ground.

3-4 times more?

Well I had to exaggerate a little to make the point
I would say he covered a hell of a lot more ground though

The problem the Club will have is holding on to him in the summer if we fail to gain promotion.
