i think some liverpool fans deserve an apology from us ,i was in block 545 and witnessed morons who call them selves cardiff city fans brutily (in my eyes) kick a liverpool fan down the steps and out of our block ,they hounded a man and young girl (about 12yrs old)out aswell ,i spoke to the guy next to me who was with his 10yr old son on holiday from belgium ,he was asking if i thought he should leave as his boy was getting quite disstressed ,we did manage to calm him but i think their day was ruined ,imo stewards should have been informed and asked to remove these people ,no one has the right to treat other human beings like these morons did ,i hope the liverpool fans caught up in these incidents are all home safe and none the worse for there experience, its time these morons are caught and dealt with as they are not wanted, lets ask ourselves where these people got there tickets from ,as block 545 was for cardiff fans and sold only to cardiff fans , how did they get to be in our end ,obviously some city fans passed the tickets on to be resold ,so who is to blame at the end of the day probably a city fan ,i personally have no problem mixing with other teams fans , infact would prefer it ,as i go to most away games and usually enjoy a beer with them , and wellcome them to do the same at cardiff ,today im well embarased i did nothing when that poor guy was being physically abused and would like to say sorry to him, the city fans i know and love im sure would be of the same mind so once again SORRY

sympathies to the liverpool fan but he shouldnt have been in the block, if a city fan was in the liverpool end the same would have happened.
bringing a child into it is irresponsible in my opinion and the stewards should have took them out
I dont condone any attack on a person but we dont live in an ideal work and this kind of thing happens all over the country

Very foolish taking a child into the opposition end! Don't condone any attack like that but in a crowed of 30 odd thousand yor going to get a few idiots with no morals, especialy when its the end you have no right being in anyway!

Well said Johnny. I too followed Liverpool all over europe and beyond the same time and what them shithouses did to that fella was bang out of order.

so lets get rid of the couple of idiots rather than making exscuses for them hope they got plenty of cctv and they use it

it would be great if this would happen in football but unfortunately it never will, agree that a so called city fan should have never passed their ticket on though, there was plenty of true city fans who would have snapped them up

maybe they should use the cctv to ban the liverpool fans who broke the conditions and went knowingly into the wrong seats

I've been to loads of GAA football and hurling championships and the lads mix, slag and roar abuse at each other for the entire game.
The funniest banter, wins the contest.
The first lad to get thick and throw a punch or kick gets slapped by both sets of fans and probably never forgiven.
maybe we should losse the english influence and get back to our celtic and ethnic roots.

I just have no sympathy for these people who go into the opposing fans stand and bring attention on themselves. I also have an anger for those who take their kids with them, totall irresponsible parenthood that is. Now I'm not condoning the actions of those that took the law into their own hands but these opposing fans should take a lot of the blame for inciting this situation.
Yes fans do mix in rugby, gaelic saesages or whatever it is called but this is football and that is the way it is.

Anyone who attacks someone with their children present is a piece of shit fullstop.
The fact City fans did this makes me sick.
Whoever you are, you should hang your heads in shame. Other City fans should have sorted that out.

Don't think anyone is tryin to condone it!

Sad to see the images of the Cardiff fan battered outside the ground, but I must say great to see your post. Sadly you will have idiots boozed up everywhere and isolated incidents were quite rare prior to kick off. Best wishes

rugbys a passionless sport thats why the fans can watch the game together.
