Privilleged to be a Bluebird

Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:08 pm

I have supported City over 40 years now and seen some real lows stuck with them all the way through and have now witnessed 2 great occasions watching MY team in the FA Cup and Carling Cup Finals is something i never dreamed i would see. :old:

Yesterday was very very special we matched Liverpool for over 120 minutes and drew the game 2-2 and stuffed it right up Paul Merson who made the most stupid statement i have ever heard 'it is impossible for Cardiff City to win this game' nothing is impossible and we proved it yesterday :ayatollah:

Although we did not win the cup due to the lottery of penalties we won the hearts and respect of football fans everywhere with the possible exception of one small corner of West Wales :D However we did Wales and the Championship proud and our support was absolutely magnificent and i enjoyed this trip more than our other 3 previous visits to Wembley.

I also wonder will any other Championship side ever do what we have done contest the FA Cup and Carling Cup Finals in the space of less than 5 years what an achievement and so so proud to be a Bluebird :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

His comment on SKY was unbelivable if he had said 'almost impossible' then fair enough but he said' If Liverpool turn up and play then it is impossible for Cardiff to win' well Liverpool turned up and at 120 minutes it was 2-2 and we could and perhaps should have won it when Miller had that chance right at the end of 90 minutes and but for the lottery of the penalty shootout we could have won it and made him look more of a bufoon than he already is
