Disagree mate, We would have lost comfortably if that fat scouse tw*t was still in charge. We were not fit enough under him plus we wouldn't be playing young hungry players.

In five whole years at Cardiff City Dave Jones's teams played about a dozen or so sublime games,,,his second season in particular when we were top of the league until December. Who would ever forget our FA 2008 cup run, or our play off semi final win [on penalties] v Leicester in 2010.
But i think Dave Jones will always be remembered for gross under achievement at City, bearing in mind the playing squads at his disposal at the time.
I hope MM gets the same resources that DD got in the same time frame!

Yea paying good money and not knowing wether your over paid players can be bothered to put a shift in. Going one nill down and knowing your not going to get back into the game. Traveling hundreds of miles to support your team and they don't acknowledge you. Having a manger who feels he doesn't have to communicate with anyone. No you can keep that. I am a bit more positive about us than you mate, I feel there are good good times ahead

May be i am, but you've only mentioned two two particular games played under DJ's five year reign.
What is your rationale for your original post?

ah yes that wonderful defeat to Blackpool or maybe that great day out against Middlesboro last season or even maybe the last game at Ninian against Ipswich!!

Let's be honest we had some good times under DJ and he brought us to this level but now we have a new manager and have moved on !
His team yesterday worked so hard and won over 1000's of neutrals who before yesterday would not have given us the time of day!

In my opinion the best time we had with Dave Jones in charge was the day he got sacked.

I have had jacks and other neutrals, even rugger types coming up to me today and saying they hate Cardiff (I work in bridgend) but they were cheering us on because of the guts and never say die spirit shown yesterday.

And you have the temerity to say a DJ team would have ground out a result

Wales as a whole (even sensible jacks) were proud of Malky's team yesterday.

And there is no need for any of them to apologise.

An obvious wind, a profound statement like that requires a detailed reply, not simply the performance or results on a couple of past games.
I even think that Dave Jones wrote this himself!
