It says it all

When we are all feeling like we are today after being beaten on penalties in major cup final against Liverpool.

Every news report all say the same thing "Most Dramatic" & "Never say die attitude"

Does it makes feel any better ...Not Really.

But look at it this way from KingKenny to StevieGee legends have Graced that club and they were taken all the way by a team that has been playing together just over 7 months including a goalie who wasnt good enough for UTD.
A Centre half who's been out for almost a month with a calf strain, a young lad who no one outside of Plymouth and Cardiff seems to know about and a French trialist who is still finding out who he is.

And they lost on penalties to the most decorated side in English football..

Not bad really.

All of the above and I haven't even mentioned the experience difference between managers.

Chin up bluebirds our future is very bright!!!!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You're right. We've come a long way in a very short space of time. We are very fortunate to be experiencing these times and I'll treasure yesterday for the rest of my life. Thank you players, management, staff and fans. :ayatollah:

That's the best way of looking at it.

On the bright side:
I am not disappointed as the team battled and were not humiliated in front of a worldwide audience.
We behaved (and the team) with class , unlike those plastics and the genuine snivelling scousers.

City are on the up, building for the future: team and fan base will also improve, unlike the jerks who have reached their pinnacle with both, and it is all down hill from now on for them.
Yes we lost, but getting there is an achievement. There were 90 other clubs wishing they were in our position yesterday. A position the gypos have never been in(or ever likely to be).
So move on city and keep building for the future.
Under Dave moans it was "dust ourselves down and go again" bullshit, but with MM in charge I believe it will happen.
