I second all that. NEVER have I celebrated any goal like I did Turners.

This has to be the catalyst for pushing this team on.

I'll be there ....

no chance mate. i liked the way DJ set his teams up to attack but it was all about effort rather than quality today.

we rode our luck at times but f**k me hudson turner and heaton desetve all the luck they got.

Spot on!!! Hurting more than the fa cup and the play offs. Why?because we were so close, we had a game plan and stuck to it, tactically spot on, effort couldn't be faulted just so so close :(

I'm fucked, but so proud of my team, been with some great Bluebird fans in Cheers Bar Sydney at stupid o'clock and were heavily outnumbered by Liverpool plastics, a lot were Aussies who watched them once on the telly and decided they are life long fans, pricks of the first order, but we gave them what for, what a performance. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

May have been mate, there were about 30 - 40 Bluebirds there and 200 scousers, some were in early but had been on the sauce since midday, but were bolloxed by midnight and had to leave, 3.00 am kick offs are tough over here.

Was great to meet you Bob and celebrating that equaliser was a special moment. Feeling truly gutted today and nursing a rotten hangover but feel so proud of the team. Lots of great performances but for me Ben Turner's was nothing short of heroic.

Yes mate, he was in there and also Budgie and one other from Merthyr I believe but I forget his name.

An unbelievable day. The team were beyond heroic and gave everything. The sight of Aron Gunnarson hobbling across the turf, determined to take a long throw when he could barely stand up, summed up our team's character today.

The boys went out on their shields - warriors to a man. Magnificent. No wonder Malky was so proud of them.

And I thought that we did the team proud in return. We completely out sang the world famous Kop choir, despite being outnumbered. Thought they were dreadful - they only sing when they are winning!

The majority of Liverpool fans we met were smug, arrogant Southern plastics - they didn't like it when we sang ""we support our local team" on the tube! The only decent ones we met were actual scousers.

Memory of the day - and there were so many- was on the tube back to catch our minibus. We had 5 kids aged 6 - 8 yrs in our party. One of them was sobbing his heart out. The rest of them gathered round him & spontaneously started singing "Don't worry about a thing" to him. Brilliant. Our future is safe in their hands!

Proud of what polo we defended for the whole game on are 18yard line while getting hammered all over the park, we battled hard put bodys on the line and thats about it,should have been dead and done by half time they had 40 shots on goal yes 40 attempts,we lost and nobody remebers the losers sadly but you can not fault are work rate and should have nicked it, miller couldnt hit a double decker bus from 12 yards out of ten attempts the guys shite but runs about like a headless chicken  but in the end we got what we deserved if you go off the game in whole which was nothing , im not going to start blowing people off on here because we lost and could have nicked it with the 11 work horses we got, but like i said above sadly nobody remembers the losers and again thats what we was,now lets f**k the cup talk and get back to getting some points in the league because this 2nd hand cup run has messed are league postion rite up

Polo
in my 39 years of supporting City, that was probably my proudest moment,Its years since I have celebrated goals like I did yesterday, to me in my heart we won the cup. We nearly beat one of the greatest teams in football and in a major final at Wembley,we drew on the day and took them all the way, we gave everything. Our team worth about £4mill, there £145 mill. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
