I take the odd look at forums covering the City and felt I had to post for the first time.
In my 50 odd years of following the City I have never been so proud of a City team. Im sure this will be covered by many other fans in the coming hours so I will not go into much detail. Every single player did the club and fans proud and I'm so proud of the manager, backroom staff and owners too.
One thing I am disappointed with is the forums. Even after a day that in my opinion was one of our best ever we have immature posts reg. Liverpool fans in the city section, highlighting one or two silly incidents etc.
Liverpool are one of the best supported clubs in England (no matter where they are from) and of course they'll seek out tickets. Our fans have done that in the past.
I believe after such a great display I think all of us should be concentrating on the teams effort and not a juvenile response to one or two incidents involving a tiny amount of fans out of 89k+.
No player out there today should get any criticism.
Very much looking forward to the W.H.U. game.
