I honestly feel he needs to be dropped for a while. Disappointing miss, both penalty and in normal time which would have won us the game.
Great work ethic, he just hasn't got the ability.
He hasn't scored since January 21, give Robert Earnshaw a go!!

hes not having the best of times at the moment,
he's never been one for settling at a club mind always a joruneyman.
he missed a pen, by milimetres and he should of won us the game, big its a big stage to perform on even liverpool were nervous

his pass for mason was sublime.a very inteligent footballer.maybe should have done better with that chance.cenimetres away with his pen.every single player played awesome today

Really don't want to be too critical but I've never known a striker hit the ball over the bar as often as he does. At 32 his technique is unlikely to improve. Should never have gone to extra time. His miss in 88th minute gets worse each time I watch it.

That's 2 penalties in a row that he's missed now. Thought he'd have learned his lesson.
Rudy's younger and he scored agains both Leicester and Palace. I don't think Gerrard would've been up there had the others not been as knackered as they were. But I'm struggling to think who'd have taken the last one anyway. Taylor? Kiss?

He is really off form at the moment, two penalties missed in consecutive carling cup matches and missed a sitter today which would have won us the game. He's not a bad player, he has been fantastic for us in quite a few matches this season, but he's the type of player who sits back and then finishes goals when the opportunity comes. He hasn't been doing that recently and needs time out to get back in form.
No doubt though miller is a quality player.

no blame pointed at any player today from me proud of them all

miller couldnt hit a bus from 10yards it would take him 30 shots to hit it if he did,he can work hard but f**k me the guy can not score sitters, how shit does he have to be infront of goal for someone else to get a game before him

The stats on him are that he scores from one in 10 shots. Earnie should def be given a run now.

i thinkk he does a lot for the team aside from him missing chances! he has good experience and works hard and apart from the misses yesterday he was great for us!

People forget that Miller might have missed that late chance but he did superbly to help create it. He adds so much more to our overall game than other strikers. How many times did he drop deep, win the ball, put a composed foot on it and ignite an attack or subdue the opposition?! The pen hit the post as well. He sent Reina the wrong way.

That assist to Mason was great, Earnshaw doesn't bring that to the team.

I can't fault his effort on the pitch , but yet again when he was needed at Penalties he let himself and the Club down and he really could have won the game in normal time too.I really like Kenny and he has won me over a bit, but this just isn't good enough .
I just hope he now puts in an amazing shift on Sunday and hit the back of the net, which is what he's paid to do

Not one of those players let anybody down! He should be a hero for having the bollox to volunteer to take the first pen!
If people believe he should be dropped for Earnie then im afraid you know nothing about football.

WE still drunk ? I never said anything about dropping Milller (quite the opposite) or bringing in the waste of space that is Earnie. and don't give me crap about having the balls to take a Pen. Miller is our 1st choice striker one of our highest paid players and yet again as come up short in a Pen shoot out .
Its just not good enough

I quoted you for the "letting people down" bollox. The next line was for everybody, hence the word "people"

Steven Gerrard missed a penalty and he is on alot more money than Kenny Miller. It's one thing missing a penalty but to say "he let himself and the Club down" is ridiculous.
Nobody is doubting Earnie can score goals, but he cannot play the lone striker role and that is how we've operated recently. Miller is without doubt the man for that role. So much of our forward play went through him yesterday, would Earnie have that effect? We all know the answer.

Gerrard Pen was saved, Miller yet again couldn't hit the target and the goal keeper didn't have to a save ...
During normal play I can't fault his effort, but he really needs to wise up on the Pen front
