From a Liverpool Fan..

Maybe this didn't warrant a thread of it's own, maybe it did. But, after the heart and determination showed by your team today I though it was only right to show our appreciation!

It won't mean much at this moment in time, but, today was a day you can be proud of your fans and club! I was so confident after Dirks goal that we had won it that when you scored I thought it just wasn't to be. When Stevie and Charlie missed their pens I had immediate flashbacks to '05 when we were wrote off as underdogs, although, it just seemed as though it was written in the stars. I thought that was your day today!

I'll be watching you very closely for the rest of the season and hope for some quality matches next season in the premiership!!!

Fair play mate. You did boss the game and quite rightly when you look at the squads involved but I couldn't be prouder of a Cardiff side tonight. they did everything Cardiff City is about. Take them on and fight till you drop.

You lot were a credit to your team today.
Fantastic support.

I'm on the bus back right now, great feeling to be cup winners again but we had to work hard for it.

Cardiff were brilliant to a man, you should be very proud of your team, they put everything on the line and Malky McKay did a fantastic job preparing his team.

Every Red I've chatted to has nothing but praise and commiserations for you, never easy to lose a final, especially after taking us to a shoot out.

So well done on a great performance and good luck for the rest of the season, hope to see your lot in the PL
next season.

Top post, mate
liverpool were very good though, every time we lost the ball it would be straight back up into our end pin point passing , you got into the right area's it just didnt happen for you.

I agree after all the twist and drama equaliser in extratime , miss two penaltys. I thought it was written in the stars for us,
its a funny game football.
kenny miller had some real back luck today,
theirs an old saying which goes, 'he must of fu**ed a nun
