do you think hudson and mc phail will be in the team. bench  i think. its to early for them to play after injuries. but would make good headlines if they did, mc phail scores a 30 yard screamer to lift the cup :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

personally i would like both to start if fit

wembley is a big pitch and Mcphail would revel in that .

people seem to forget he's one of our best midfielders when on form .

a great touch with excellent passing vision

MacPhil isn't even Championship standard anymore and hasn't been for the past 3/4 years.

Really hope Mcphail plays , he deserves that

But would also think Hudson would strengthen our back four

Hopeful on both but I think if MM had them both ready for selection and could pick one, against Liverpool I think he'd pick Hudson

He's one that would relish the "extra time" players seem to have on the ball at Wembley/Prem .

Agree with you Mozz. :ayatollah:

i used to think like you. with both hudson and mc phail. mcphail is the best passer in the team. plus. he gives whitts the room to move up field. if we do play .1 up front on sunday. mcphail could release whitts to go forward a bit more

Play makers don't need to be good all round footballers they just need the positional awareness and passing ability to set up their far more technically gifted fellow players. It's like Leon Britton in the Swansea team. Take away his passing and he's barely championship standard but with it it makes him a solid premiership midfielder.
