They have let that striker go to brum on loan and brought 1 in now probably on a lot less money, so in effect they are cutting back on wages

Cutting back on player's wages is'nt going to clear their multi million pound debts. I pitty the local suppliers who have to take 5p in the pound, yet again.

Irrelevant.

Under their situation - where they are effectively reneging upon the previous CVA - EVERY other club in a similar circumstance has had a transfer embargo, which includes loans.

Pompey have played up the "our squad is decimated, we've no-one else" card.

Which is shit, and shows just how scummy a club they really are.

Under the league rules, they can only get loans in if there is a desparate need with full evidence they would struggle to field a subs bench. For the purposes of that check, they disregard youth players who have not playd a first team game.

Whilst they've loaned Huskelopp out, publicly know, it's not widely known they have also loaned some youngsters out, to non league clubs, to prevent them being named in the squad and possibly playing. Which then means they can loan this new guy in.

They have systematically played the system and quite frankly should they go out of business, it's fitting.
