CAN MALKY REALLY AFFORD TO BE PICKY WITH SIGNINGS AT THIS ST

Thu Feb 23, 2012 2:06 pm

can malky really afford to be picky at this stage of the season?
we are all aware of his strict transfer policy and it's becoming quite likely that is the case with bringing in loan
players, roumer has it we could of loaned macheda earlier in the season but he ruled out that because of the players attitude.

Every side has players with ego's thats just football it isn't neccassarily a bad thing especially when you take into consideration
we're in danger of losing ground on the chasing pack as they have all strengthened and overtaken us with depth and some
sides have now got a better starting 11.

would you be happy for us to just bring in 3 or 4 loan players from the premier league who can do a good a job as players we already have, to ensure we dont burn out and drop costly points or slip up in the play offs once again.
do we want to be another preston north end? the nearly club who adventually went capult!.

oppinions?

but considering the malaysians are pushing him on to bring players in I dont think they particulary mind if he is to loan 3 players now.
they put a supposed 5 million+ on the table to bring in players,
its not as if we'v gone mad with there money, and loan players are going to be on over 20k a week

Totally agree but all I will say is look at the loans of last season. Most of em were donkeys.

A very difficult job when you wont drop your standards.

I dont think the players are out there that MM wants, well not available atm. The fact we are now looking for loans has made it more difficult. It is easier to find the right players if you have the money to buy them although it is not that straight forward as we have found out this transfer window.

I sometimes wonder what MM told the board when he had his interview. The fact that the Malaysians have asked him when he is bringing someone in tells me he might have given them promises during his interview. Perhaps he said that he will bring in players for good value which really is his get out clause when you think of it. Who knows what was said.

I think your right I think he would of said he's very strict with his transfer policy will only bring in players for good value
and maybe gave examples of the type of players or where from he would sign them.
it nearly worked out for us , we come very close to signing 2 or 3 good players. but the run of luck has gone against us.
Their wont be ''perfect players available'' but we could still bring in 2 more talented players there has to be two players who can do a job at this club somewhere in uk, maybe even enquire over sea's if they dont have any restrictions
