Following on from the thread re John Hartson's comments on Real Radio, did anyone post about Welsh manager and another of Swansea's finest,Chris Coleman's quote when he was a Sky pundit at our Semi Final 2nd leg game v Palace.
When the Sky guy asked Coleman who he WANTED to win due to his Palace connections, Chris without any hesitation said "Cardiff without any doubt".
Whether he actually wanted us to win is another thing, but the fact that he he said it without even thinking says a lot for the guy.
I know for a fact that some of the FAW bigwigs are not too impressed with JH's comments.

I've met both of them a few times down the years, Chris Coleman has always come across as a nice guy. John Hartson a good few years ago was a bit arrogant but seems to have changed since his brush with cancer, I was genuinely impressed with him the last couple of times I have met him.
As for Hartson touting himself for the Welsh job? If he has any ambition to become a manager, he needs to start by proving himself at club level first, how he can honestly consider himself a contender for such a high profile job without any experience is probably a sign that the arrogance hasn't entirely gone. Arrogance and self belief isn't always a bad thing but he needs to be a bit more realistic.

hartson is a complete tool...constantly spouts that he doesnt like us ..fair enough but this guy wanted to be welsh manager so im sure the faw members wouldnt be to happy with him saying things like that....what would he do if after saying these things he,d have to come to watch cardiff players......... total tool who expects a big job to land on his lap rather than go find one and get some experience...HARTSON = KNOB .

Didn't harm mark hughes having his first job as wales manager, so why couldn't hartson do the same? Understand city fans hate the guy with the jack connection and stuff he says though

Don't care who supports us or not.
Hartson has said he thinks Liverpool will win. I actually think that Liverpool will win but do think we have an outside chance.
