I'm a Cardiff City fan coming in peace and would like to comment on your leaving CCS.
Let's be honest; the majority of City fans never wanted you to play at our ground and are thankful that you will/are going. Our 30,000 stadium had to be scaled down to 26,800 because it was too big for you. Furthermore, before you start rejoicing that you are leaving a brand new ground so you can be nearer your favoured well-healed watering-holes in the city-centre, there is the small matter of default payments to allow you to come out of your 20yr lease at CCS. That will cost you a pretty penny to be sure. The 20yr lease costs £21m and default payments will be stiff.
Again, after coming out from CCS, do you think that CCFC will take kindly to you cherry picking your perceived bigger games to play at our ground. I think not.
CCFC are at this moment considering increasing capacity at the stadium to 37,000 by constructing a second tier around the other three sides. If, as one of your members recently said: 'Playing at CCS is like a pea rolling about a tin can,' a few thousand in a 37,000 stadium will clearly be like a couple of peas in an empty gallon tin of paint!
Furthermore all this utter nonsense that rugby is the premier sport in Wales has been shown to be utter twaddle. What football fans knew all along and the rugby fraternity forlornly and deludedly clung too with the help of the media has now been broadcast far and wide. While you struggled and failed to get 2,100 at your final game at CCS, Cardiff City are averaging approx 22,000 this season.
Believe it or not, whilst I'm ambivulent regarding rugby, it is a dinosaur of a sport and it faces huge hurdles to surmount before any improvement is seen. Yes, 70,000 watch Wales at the MillStad but of that number barely 10% would regularly watch club rugby. In short here in Wales, the 6 Nations' games played at the MillStad is akin to a working-class gathering just as the Henley Regatta and/or Wimbledon is for the upper classes of England.
Best wishes for the future but I for one will be pleased to see the back of the Cardiff Blues badges outside the stadium and the kits in our Club Superstore.
Cardiff City fan at the CCS.

With more people in the squad than in the stands, I'm suprised they have a forum
