We bleed blue

Wed Feb 22, 2012 11:21 pm

All the talk about plastic fans this week has got me thinking about my time following the city since 1968.I've realised I've got into more scraps about the city,in Cardiff on non matchdays, than I ever did following the city all over the uk and Europe and it's always been with these cocky Cardiff plastics.I'm a Cardiff boy but I' despise these twats with a passion which knows no bounds,I suppose accelerated during the 80s when coming back to Cardiff general after another trip in darkest lancs and another 4-0 drubbing at Rochdale or somewhere and scrapping with rugby fans on platform 3 and back to your local to watch sneering arseholes coming in their pants cos their heroes from Lancashire are on match of the day.tossers.from those days of 2-3thousand crowds of true diehards we have grown to 20 thousand strong but there must be no second team except for Wales, because it's treason of the highest order, and when I hear on real radio that mark ring, bishop and Bellamy are all childhood plastics just confirms that the majority of true city fans come from the valleys. :old: :ayatollah:

Good post, i remember the dark days of the 70,s and 80,s (followed the city since 73) you,ll always get plastic fans who are so loyal to liverpool and man utd, afterall, they never miss wacthing them on match of the day. To be fair we (cardiff city) didn,t help the cause in them days, we were so bad that it wasn,t hard for anyone to turn their football attention to another team, but this is why for us loyal fans who have had to put up with some dire years in the dungeon, days like sunday are so well deserved, i,m sure the ultimate prize of premiership football is now not too far away, lets be honest, most of us who will be there on sunday fully deserve it!!!!!

I was a bit too general with the second team scenario as if you have personal connections with another club ie family from there, I have an acceptance for,but my ire is aimed at the usual suspects and the thought of sitting close to someone on Sunday who has come to watch Suarez,s gerrard and Bellamy play, even though they are from the same town, makes my blood boil.
